John Swanbeck (Writer/Director/Producer). Directed the existential comedy THE BIG KAHUNA starring Kevin Spacey and Danny DeVito. His screenplays include the high concept comedies BORN LOSER (a man comes back from the future to prevent his twenty year old parents from getting pregnant) and NEWBIE (an embryo who wants to become a filmmaker on a journey to find an original idea). His stage productions have appeared in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, including the World War I dark comedy THE LOVE OF A GOOD MAN; the character comedy ALL KIDDING ASIDE by Richard LaGravenese; the absurdist Steven Berkoff play GREEK (which won him Chicagoʼs Joseph Jefferson Award for "Best Direction of a Play"); and the political satire ANTIGONE AT THE WHITE HOUSE, which John wrote and directed for BlueSwanFilms. John is also a highly acclaimed director of actors and is currently packaging his director tools, tips, tricks and insights into a humorously irreverent eBook titled "John Swanbeck's: How To Steal The Scene & End Up Playing The Lead".
